37th Express Entry Draw Results Announced – Canada

The 37th Canada Express Entry Draw took place yesterday, 29 June 2016 and the results were announced on the same day. The cap on the number of invitations issued according to this draw is 773.

The new draw results also stated that the minimum score of 482 points is required, under CRS or the Comprehensive Ranking System, in order to get an Invitation to Apply (ITA).

The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration launched Canada Express Entry in January 2015 which has been running successfully ever since. The 1st Express Entry Draw took place on 31st January, last year. In 2016, this draw is the 14th one.

Unlike previous draws, the cap on the intake has dropped significantly. The earlier intakes had a limit of around 1000 to 1500. However in the last two months, the cutoff was less than 800.

The Comprehensive Ranking System evaluates an applicant’s profile based on educational qualifications, age, English or French fluency, and work experience.
